Pav buns for pav bhaji
Wiki says, Pav bhaji is a fast food dish from India, consisting of a thick vegetable curry served with a soft bread roll. The dish originated in the 1850s as a fast lunchtime dish for textile mill workers in Mumbai. Pav bhaji was later served at restaurants throughout the city. Pav bhaji is now offered at outlets from simple hand carts to formal restaurants in India and abroad.
Recently I have been trying baking of various types of breads. O our family is a huge n of pav bhaji. When immae pull apart bread, I know pav will be a hit as well. Super soft pavs hot and fresh at home. I will not buy pavs here after.
My daughter loved it and she wants me to bake and give to take for her shool party sometime.

Ingredients:
- All purpose flour - 300-350 gems
- Instant Yeast - one sachet or 7 gms
- Warm water and milk - 1/2 cup
- Sugar - 1 tsp
- Salt
- Butter - 1 tbsp
- Milk - 1 tbsp
- Butter - 1 tsp
Method:
- In a bowl, add the instant yeast , sugar and add warm water and milk. Wait for few mins to become frothy.
- Then add the all purpose flour, salt and mix water and knead it into a Soft dough. Add butter to this and knee the dough for 5 mins.
- Keep it side for it to rise for 45 mins- 1 hour.
- After 45 mins, punch it out And knead the dough for 5 mins.
- Roll the dough into the size u want to make.
- Take equal balls of SAme size each ball approximately 70 grams.
- Take the baking tray, grease it with some butter.
- Take the balls and place it inside the tray.
- Keep it aside again to raise.
- After 45 mins.
- Preheat the oven for 200 degrees Celsius and for 5-10 mins.
- Apply milk on top of the buns.
- Place the tray for baking for 20 mins.
- After taking the tray out, apply butter on top od it.
- Soft buns ready to be served with Bhaji.

Kaima idly - restaurant style
Welcome back to jiyas delicacy blogging, today I am going to share a recipe with the boring idly. Once upon a time, I used to have this kaima idly in chennai frequently, one of my favourite dishes. Whenever I go to restaurant I buy kaima idly or chilly parotta. This recipe is healthy as well as tasty. Usually the idly is deep fried, but I have just toasted it.

- Idly - 10
- Onions-2 finely chopped
- Tomato- 4 finely chopped
- Capsicum - 1 finely chopped
- Green peas - 1 cup
- Chilly powder -1 tsp
- Kashmiri chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Biryani masala - 1 tsp
- Salt
- Oil
- Water
- Coriander leaves
- Green chilly - 2 slitted
- Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
- Curry leaves
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Method:
- Take the idlies and refrigerate for sometime, then take it and cut them into small cubes.
- In a dosa tava, place the cubes and toast them by adding few spoons of oil.
- Take them in a bowl and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, add fennel seeds, curry leaves, green chilly and fry them.
- Add the onions and fry them nicely.
- Add ginger garlic paste and sauté until the raw smell vanishes.
- Add the tomatoes and salt.
- Close and cook until the tomatoes become mushy.
- Now add the capsicum and peas. Add the spice powders and allow it to cook.
- Close and cook until the masala is cooked well .
- Open and stir the masala, add little bit water to it. Let it boil a bit.
- Now add the toasted idlies and give a good stir.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.

Mutton Kheema samosa
This is my 9th year of blogging. I have been trying to do a lot of dishes and innovations. One of such dishes is Khee a samosa. I love the samosa whenever my dad buys for me. We used to eat a lot during Ramzan season. I want to make this dish for the past 10 years. Only now I did it. I loved it so much. Great and easy recipe to follow. Do check it out.
Ingredients:
- Mutton kheema - 250 gms
- Onion - 1 chopped
- Potato -1 boiled
- Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder -1 tsp
- Garam masala - 1 tsp
- Salt
- Oil
- Spring roll sheets
- Coriander leaves
- Maida - 2 tsp
- Water - few spoons
Method:
- Boil the potato and keep it aside.
- In a pan, add oil. Add the onions ad fry them.
- Add the mutton kheema and sauté for two minutes.
- Smash the potato and add to it. Potato is optional.
- Add all the spice powders and salt.
- Sauté well. Close and cook for 10 minutes until the mutton is cooked well.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- In a cup, add maida and water and make it into a thick paste to stick the comes.
- Now take the spring roll sheets and fold it into the shape of cone.
- Add a spoon of the kheema filling and apply the maida paste and seal.
- Repeat for all the samosas.
- Heat oil in a pan, fry all the samosas to golden brown.

4 star salad

Mango braided strudel
Welcome all to the most exciting recipe mango strudel. In my family all of us re big fans of Apple strudel, strawberry strudel, mango strudel thats available here in Singapore. So I wanted to try my hands on mango strudel. I was happy with my first attempt, except for filling was not enough. I was afraid to load a lot since it was my first try. Do try it and see, you will love it
Ingredients:
Method:
Mouthwatering strudel is ready.
- All purpose flour - 1 cup
- Instant Yeast - 2 tsp
- Warm water - 1/2 cup
- Sugar - 1 tsp
- Salt
- Butter - 1 tbsp
- Egg - 1 for egg wash
- Marshmallows - few
- Mangoes chopped - 1 cup
- Water
Method:
- In a bowl, add the instant yeast , sugar and add warm water. Wait for few mins to become frothy.
- Then add the lol purpose flour, salt and mix water and knead it into a Soft dough.
- Keep it side for it to rise for 45 mins.
- After 45 mins, punch it out Nd knee the dough for 5 mins.
- Roll the dough into the size u want to make.
- I have braided into a fish shaped strudel.
- After rolling the sheet thin, place the mango pieces and marsh mallows , cut both sides of the sheet to braid.
- Braid it crisscross and seal the ends. I have just given cuts at the end for fish tail.
- Preheat the oven at 200 degrees celsius for 10 mins.
- Place the baking sheet or aluminium foil on a baking tray.
- Place the braided strudel on it.
- Give it a nice egg was, for egg wash, Take an egg in a bowl and beat it nicely. Apply with a brush on TOP of the strudel before it goes inside the oven.
- Place it in the oven for 25 mins on 200 degrees Celsius.
Mouthwatering strudel is ready.

Whole chicken roast
Hello all,
Here is a fantastic recipe with chicken. Can serve as a starter, main course. It’s the whole chicken roast . My hubby and my kid did this for me for mother’s day. So its really special to me. It tasted fantastic. Try this yummiest chicken and send in your feedbacks.
Ingredients:
Whole chicken - I have take country chicken one without skin.
For first marination :
Chilly powder - 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Salt - required
Lemon juice - 1 lemon
Second marination :
Chilly powder - 1 tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala -1 tsp
Curd - 1/4 cup
Oil- 3 tsp
Mint leaves - one handful chopped
Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt if needed
Method :
- Clean the chicken and skin out the whole chicken. Was and slit with the knife before marination.
- Take the chicken and nicely marinate with the first marination ingredients and keep aside for 1 hour.
- After an hour, marinate the chicken again with second marination.
- Leave it aside for 1 hour. If possible marinate the previous day and leave for 24 hours.
- Preheat the oven at 200 degrees celsius for 5-0 mins. Place the chicken in oven for 1 hour in baking mode.
- After half an hour flip over the chicken onto the other side and bake for half an hour.
- After one hour, for roasting the chicken, increase the temperature to 250 degrees celsius and grill for 10 mins on each side.
Lovely grilled chicken is ready.
