Whole chicken roast


Hello all,

Here is a fantastic recipe with chicken. Can serve as a starter, main course. It’s the whole chicken roast . My hubby and my kid did this for me for mother’s day. So its really special to me. It tasted fantastic. Try this yummiest chicken and send in your feedbacks. 

Ingredients:

Whole chicken - I have take country chicken one without skin.
For first marination :

Chilly powder - 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Salt - required
Lemon juice - 1 lemon

Second marination :

Chilly powder - 1 tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala -1 tsp
Curd - 1/4 cup
Oil- 3 tsp
Mint leaves - one handful chopped
Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt if needed

Method :


  • Clean the chicken and skin out the whole chicken. Was and slit with the knife before marination.
  • Take the chicken and nicely marinate with the first marination ingredients and keep aside for 1 hour.
  • After an hour, marinate the chicken again with second marination.
  • Leave it aside for 1 hour. If possible marinate the previous day and leave for 24 hours.

  • Preheat the oven at 200 degrees celsius for 5-0 mins. Place the chicken in oven for 1 hour in baking mode.
  • After half an hour flip over the chicken onto the other side and bake for half an hour.
  • After one hour, for roasting the chicken, increase the temperature to 250 degrees celsius and grill for 10 mins on each side.

Lovely grilled chicken is ready.
