Vegetable Kurma

One of the tastiest kurma from my mom's recipe.. Do try guys.


Ingredients:


  • Beans - 5-6 cut it lengthwise
  • Carrot - 1 cut it lengthwise
  • Potato - 1 cut it lengthwise
  • Onion - 1 cut it lengthwise
  • Green chilly - 4
  • Green peas - 1/4 cup soaked and boiled
  • Cinnamon - 1'
  • Cloves
  • Bay leaf
  • coconut
  • Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 1/2 tsp
  • Poppy seeds - 4 tsp soaked in water


Method:

  • Grind coconut, fennel seeds, green chillies and poppy seeds.
  • Heat oil in a pan, temper bay leaf, cinnamon and cloves.
  • Add green chilly and onion.When the onions are translucent.
  • Add ginger garlic paste.Stir well until raw smell disappears.
  • Add the vegetables and required salt.
  • Add water and close and cook for the vegetables to boil.
  • After the vegetables are cooked well.Add the ground paste and allow it to boil for 5 mins.

Suitable for Idly, Dosa, chapathi and even fried rice.
