Pattani kurma

Ingredients:

  • Peas - 1 cup (soaked and boil)
  • Onion - 1
  • Tomato- 1
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 2 tsp
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Cloves- 2
  • Cinnamon - 1 small piece
  • Coriander leaves
  • Coconut paste - 1/4 cup
  • Water

Method:

  • Heat oil in a pan, season cloves and cinnamon.
  • Add onions. Fry them well.
  • Add ginger garlic paste. Fry till raw smell vanishes.
  • Add the tomatoes and little salt.Cook them till the tomaotes become mushy.
  • Add chilly powder,coriander powder and the remaining salt.Add water.
  • Add the pes and allow it to boil.
  • Finally add coconut paste and turn off before it starts to boil.

Garnish with coriander leaves.
