Chickpeas sundal / konda kadalai sundal - Version 2


Ingredients:

  • Chickpeas - 2 cups
  • Oil
  • Mustard seeds
  • Urad dal
  • Green chilly - 2
  • Ginger - half piece
  • Curry leaves
  • Coconut  -one handful



 

 Method:

  • Soak chickpeas overnight. Boil for 3 whistles in a cooker.
  • Grind coconut, chilly, curry leaves and ginger together.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, urad dal and little curry leaves.
  • Add the ground mixture and saute for wo minutes
  • Add the boiled chickpeas. and stir them.
  • Add salt and mmix well. Keep in flame for two mins and switch off.
