Navarathri isnt special without sundal. Here is another sundal recipe:
Ingredients:
- Green gram - 1 cup
- Oil
- Mustard seeds
- Urad dal
- Green chilly - 2
- Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt
- Onion - 1 finely chopped
- Curry leaves
Method:
- Soak the green gram overnight or for 5-6 hrs.
- Boil it for one whistle in cooker.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves.
- Add the split green chillies and fry for 2 minutes.
- Add the chopped onions and fry till golden brown.
- Add the green gram and stir well.
- Add salt and coriander powder to it.Stir once.
