Bombay chutney/ Besan flour chutney

Ingredients:

  • Besan flour - 1 cup
  • Onion - 1
  • green chilly - 2
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Oil
  • Water
  • Gram dal - 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  • Urad dal - 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves
  • Coriander leaves
  • Salt

Method:


  • Mix besan flour, turmeric powder , salt and water in a vessel.
  • Heat oil in a pan, temper mustard seeds, urad dal, gram dal, curry leaves.
  • Fry onions and green chillies.
  • Add the besan mixture into the onions.Mix well.
  • Close it and allow it to boil for 5 mins.
  • Stir well, check if the besan is boiled well.
  • Garnish with Coriander leaves.

Serve with Chapathies..
