Spiced Murmura / Masala Pori

My Hubby's all time favorite Murmura....


Ingredients:

  • Puffed rice - 250 gms
  • Red chilly - 4
  • Curry leaves
  • Oil - 2 tsp
  • Garlic - 3-4
  • Salt
  • Mustard seeds
  • Peanuts - half cup

Method:

  • Heat oil in a kadai, temper mustard seeds. Add curry leaves, smashed garlic and red chilly.
  • Add peanutsand roast well.
  • Add salt and puffed rice. Mix well. Do not fry too much.
  • Allow it to cool down and store it in a air tight container.
