Capsicum Usili


  • Capsicum - 2
  • Bengal gram - 1/4 cup
  • Toor dal - 1/2 cup

  • Red chilly - 3-4
  • salt
  • Oil
  • Mustard seeds
  • Urad dal
  • Curry leaves

  • Wash and soak toor dal and bengal gram.
  • Grind the soaked dal with red chilly and salt.
  • Heat pan, add oil and temper mustard se eds, urad dal, curry leaves.

  • Add the ground dal, and fry it in oil in simmer, a
    llow it cook well, till the raw smell of the dal vanishes.
  • Add the chopped Capsicum and mix well. Cook well.
  • Yummy Usili is ready to serve.
Goes well with more kuzhambu and vetha kuzhambu.
