Stuffed pomfret fry


  • Coriander Leaves - 1/2 cup
  • Few mint leaves
  • Garlic - 6
  • Ginger -1 "
  • Green chillies -2
  • Onions - 1
  • Pomfret fish -1
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Turmeric powder - little
  • Tomatoes - 2
  • Lemon juice

  • Clean and dry the pomfret. Cut it on one side just enough to make a slit in the belly for the filling.
  • Apply salt, lemon juice and a little turmeric powder and set aside..
  • Grind all the above ingredients except the tomatoes to a paste . Heat oil, fry the masala well, then add tomatoes, and garam masala. Cool the mixture.
  • Stuff the above mixture into the fish, dust the fish with flour on all sides and shallow fry until the fish is cooked evenly on all sides.
