Aloo Bonda

Ingredients:

  • Potato - 200 gms
  • Green chillies - 2
  • Mustard seeds
  • Gram dal -1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Green peas - 1/4 cup.
  • Besan flour - 1/4 cup
  • Rice flour - 1 tbsp
  • Chilly powder -1/2 tsp
  • Salt
  • Asafoedita
  • Oil
  • Water


Method:

  • Boil and smash potatoes. Boil Peas.
  • Heat pan, add little oil, temper mustard seeds, gram dal, curry leaves, green chillies.
  • Add turmeric powder, asafoedita.
  • Add the smashed potatoes and peas. Add salt.Mix well.
  • Make it into small balls and keep it aside.
  • Now for the batter, Mix besan flour, rice flour, chilly powder and salt and required water.
  • Heat oil, dip the potato balls in the batter and fry till golden brown.
  • Hot Bondas are ready.
