Sweet thukkada / sweet diamonds


Ingredients:
  • Oil
  • Maida - 1 cup
  • Water
  • Sugar - 100 gms
  • Cardamom powder
  • Salt little

Method:

  • Make sugar syrup upto one line consistency.
  • Add cardamom to it.
  • Knead Maida and salt with water and make it into a dough.
  • Make thin chapathis and cut it criss cross.
  • Heat oil in a pan, fry the cut pieces or thukkada.
  • Put the fried diamonds into the sugar syrup and mix it well.

Hot crunchy thukada sweet is ready.
