Lemon rasam


  • Lemon -1
  • Moong dal - 1 tbsp
  • Tomato - 1
  • Green chilly - 1
  • Salt
  • Turmeric powder
  • Sambar powder - 1/2 tsp


  • Boil dal with turmeric powder and asafoedita.
  • In a vessel, add water, tomato,chilly,sambar powder and salt . Add water and allow it to boil to 1/4th.
  • Add the boiled dal.Allow it to boil.
Squeeze the lemon in the end.
Garnish with Coriander.
Season mustard seeds in Gingelly oil.
