Jeera Rasam / Cumin seeds Rasam



Ingredients:

  • Tamarind - lemon size
  • Salt
  • Sambar powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - pinch
  • Jeera - 1 tsp
  • Toor dal - 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves
  • Mustard seeds
  • Ghee

Method:

  • In a vessel, add tamarind extract, sambar powder , turmeric powder and salt . Allow it to boil to 1/4th.
  • Grind toor dal, jeera , curry leaves, add water and grind.
  • Add required water.


Season mustard seeds,curry leaves in Ghee.
