- Tamarind - 1 lemon size
- Toor dal - 3 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Asafoedita
- Green chilly - 1
- Tomato - 1
- Sambar powder - 1 tsp
- Salt
- Mustard seeds
- Coriander leaves
Method:
- Boil dal with turmeric powder and asafoedita.
- In a vessel, add tamarind extract, tomato, water,chilly,sambar powder and salt . Allow it to boil to 1/4th.
- Add the boiled dal.
Garnish with Coriander.
Season mustard seeds in Ghee.
