- Capsicum - 2
- Bengal gram - 1/4 cup
- Toor dal - 1/2 cup
- Red chilly - 3-4
- salt
- Oil
- Mustard seeds
- Urad dal
- Curry leaves
Method:
- Wash and soak toor dal and bengal gram.
- Grind the soaked dal with red chilly and salt.
- Heat pan, add oil and temper mustard se eds, urad dal, curry leaves.
- Add the ground dal, and fry it in oil in simmer, allow it cook well, till the raw smell of the dal vanishes.
- Add the chopped Capsicum and mix well. Cook well.
- Yummy Usili is ready to serve.
Goes well with more kuzhambu and vetha kuzhambu.
