Lemon rice / Chitranna


Ingredients:

  • Cooked rice - 1 cup
  • Mustard seeds -1 tsp
  • Gram dal - 1 tsp
  • Lemon - 1
  • Green chilly - 2
  • Salt
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Asafoedita
  • Curry leaves
  • Oil

Method:
  • In a pan, heat oil, season mustard seeds,gram dal,curry leaves, chillies, asafoedita.
  • Add turmeric powder. Add the cooked rice and required salt and mix well.
  • Squeeze lemon and mix well.
Serve with Aloo mutter masala.
