Ghee rice - My mom in law's spl dish




Ingredients:

  • Basmati rice - 1 cup
  • Beans - 5-6
  • Carrot - 1
  • Peas - 5 tbsp
  • Coconut milk - 1 cup
  • Water - 1 cup
  • Salt
  • Ghee
  • Oil

To grind:

  • Green chilly -3
  • Coriander leaves - one handful
  • Cinnamon - 1"
  • Cloves - 4
  • Cardamom - 3
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 1/2 tsp
Method:

  • Heat the pressure cooker,add oil and ghee, season cinnamon,cloves.
  • Add onions and all the vegetables.Fry well.
  • Add the ground paste,salt.
  • Add rice and lastly coconut milk and water.
  • Cook it for 3 whistles.
